Arsenium, astro del pop rumano, se prepara para su debut en Viña: "Va a ser una fiesta"

 

El ex integrante del grupo O-Zone -autor del hit que inspiró la parodia "Pluma, pluma, gay"- es una de las cartas más fuertes en la Competencia Internacional.

 

Arsenie Todiras tiene 30 años y nació en Moldavia, pero hace años que tiene una exitosa carrera en Rumania, donde es considerado todo un astro. Será la carta rumana en la Competencia Internacional del Festival de Viña 2014.

 

Fue integrante de la banda de eurodance O-Zone. Desde los 19, y junto a sus compañeros Dan y Radu, interpretaron la canción original "Dragostea Din Tei", que en 2003 fue número 1 en más de 30 países en todo el mundo y tercera en ventas del Reino Unido, con un total de más de 12 millones de copias vendidas. Entre 2004 y 2005, fue interpretada por más de 200 artistas en 14 idiomas diferentes.

 

Luego el grupo de humoristas español Los Morancos la utilizó como parodia gay y la llamó "Marica Tú" ("Fiesta, fiesta, pluma, pluma, gay"). Fue con esta versión que el hit no paró de escucharse por todos los países del habla hispana y llegó a ser N° 1 indiscutido en nuestro país y en el resto de los países de Sudaamérica.

 

"Fue una locura. No podía creer que estaba sonando alrededor del mundo", reacciona Arsenium ya en Viña. "Fue número uno en todos lados. Para mí, eso fue un excelente paso en mi carrera. Fue una gran experiencia", agrega, mientras afina los últimos detalles de su presentación en la Quinta Vergara.

 

Llegó hace menos de una semana a nuestro país desde Rusia, donde realizaba una gira y donde también es una estrella pop connotada. Desde que es solista, ha sacado tres discos: "Love me... Love me" (2005), "The 33rd Element" (2006) y "Rumadai" (2008), que contiene la canción homónima y que será con la cual participará en la competencia. La tonada sigue su estilo dance que lo ha caracterizado y mezcla frases en rumano, inglés, francés y español.

 

Es primera vez que visita Chile. "Sabía que era un lugar hermoso, con un buen clima y muy buenos vinos. También sabía que es un país que está al fin del mundo y eso me llamaba mucho la atención", cuenta el cantante.

 

De su actuación en el Festival, Arsenium se siente seguro, porque ya ha ensayado con el resto de los músicos. "Va a ser un muy buen show. La persona principal en el escenario seré yo. Pero también va haber muchos bailarines. Va a ser una fiesta, con muchas luces. Será muy divertido".

 

El cantante confiesa además su apreciación por las bailarinas. "Hay cuatro que me gustan mucho. Hay otra chica de producción en Viña que es muy guapa. Las mujeres chilenas son hermosas. Es una belleza diferente. Pero dame una semana".

 

Si llegara a ganar, el competidor por Rumania asegura que festejará en grande. "Saltaré como loco y luego voy a invitar a todos quienes me acompañaron a festejar y a tomar un trago. Haré una fiesta", dice riendo.
